Losing Weight with Apple Cider Vinegar

By Didi

Apple cider vinegar is becoming increasingly popular due to its many health benefits. It’s been used to treat eczema, lower blood sugar, and even keep hair healthy and shiny. However, one of the biggest ways apple cider vinegar, or ACV, is changing people’s lives is through its amazing weight loss capabilities.Losing weight with apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is an all-natural remedy. It’s made by adding yeast to pure apple juice and fermenting over several days. Once fermented, a healthy bacterium is added to the mix, which gives ACV its acidity.

After this, the mixture is diluted with water to decrease its strength. Every step of this process is done to increase the strength and effectiveness of the ACV, so that its weight loss properties can be used to their full extent.

The acid in ACV is a huge reason it is such an effective weight loss tool. Acid by itself works to breakdown protein, boosting the quality of the digestive system ability to burn fat.

ACV is especially effective if taken before a meal, because then it can begin the work of digesting the meal as soon as it reaches the digestive tract.

This digestion, the one that takes place as fats and proteins reach the digestive tract, is especially important because this is the point where the body absorbs fats.

If the proteins and fats stay in the tract too long, the body will keep absorbing them, and this will result in weight gain. ACV eliminates this problem, by helping the body break down the fat quickly.

However, ACV doesn’t just prevent weight gain, it also helps boost the body’s natural abilities to burn fat and lose weight.

One ways ACV does this is by improving the body’s absorption of iron. Iron is a crucial part of weight loss.

It is the foundation for building hemoglobin and myoglobin, which carry oxygen throughout the body. Oxygen burns energy, which in turn burns fat, which can help shave the pounds off.

Recent studies have shown that the acid found in ACV can make the body crave certain foods. Vinegar, specifically, has long been known to awaken the taste buds, but it is a less known fact that it makes the body want good foods.

Vinegar is best complimented by fruits, veggies, and legumes. So, as ACV is continuously used by a person, their taste buds will begin to change, making them crave food that is actually good for them. This will clear the path to weight loss.

As mentioned above, one of the best ways to include ACV in the diet is by drinking a little before meals.

However, for those who don’t like this option, or who want to up their ACV intake, there are other choices. The second most popular way to take in enough is to add it to all meals.

It can be sprinkled over foods, whizzed into smoothies and drinks, and used as a salt replacement. These small adjustments are the perfect way to increase ACV intake and, therefore, boost the body’s ability to lose weight.
